‘By Disaster or Design’ Webinar Recording

Following the publication of our first whitepaper, By Disaster or Design, Arketa Institute held a webinar on April 29th, 2025 to discuss key points from the report and answer readers' questions.

The presentation followed the structure of the paper, with each of the three parts summarized by one of the co-authors in turn:

Steve Rocco presented the ‘Introduction to the Predicament’ (00:05:06 in the recording)

Anastasia Linn shared insights on ‘The Role of Finance in a Post-Growth World’ (00:30:58)

and Matt Orsagh closed the discussion by reflecting on changing narratives and evolving identities in ‘The Journey Forward’ (01:05:40).
