The Case for Post-Growth Finance: Anastasia speaks to the Catalyst Network
Arketa Institute Co-Founder Anastasia Linn (top right) presenting to interdisciplinary change leaders during a virtual Catalyst Check-in.
On September 25th, Anastasia was invited to present to the Catalyst Network, an interdisciplinary group of high-impact change leaders largely based in Australia.
Her talk introduced Ecological Economics and the implications it presents for the finance industry. It also went deeper, touching on the way Arketa Institute has been approaching the work of normalizing bold topics like degrowth. By sharing insights into how we seek to both “push” and “hold” those we interact with, she provided frameworks and ideas that the audience members could apply to become more bold, more supportive and ultimately more effective in their own engagements going forward.
Host Josie Gibson said of the presentation: “This was a terrific session, thoughtfully put together, with accessible language and complex themes logically connected for us non-finance folk. For me, this high-level architecture makes sense, feels eminently do-able and invites us to explore what’s possible through our own networks.”
The recording and slides were shared with Catalyst Network members following the talk.
